Translates from Gaelic as ‘The Little Herdsman of Etive’.
The river Etive flows through the glen of the same name just to the east of this mountain, pouring into Loch Etive before spilling out through the Falls of Lora into sea off the west coast of Scotland – a wild and beautiful place.
If you look closely you can see the wind whipping the snow from the ridge in the middle distance.
