Last post for a while as I’m off to the Outer Hebrides for 10 days or so. Going sea kayaking and hopefully I’ll get the chance to take some photo’s. I’m a little disappointed though because I sent my Hasselblad in for a service about 6 or 7 weeks ago

Two shots of Castle Crag. Site of an Iron Age fort, the remains of which are no longer obvious as the summit was quarried extensively for slate in the last centaury. The view from the summit down the Borrowdale valley are superb and I believe Alfred Wainwright referred to it
