Wind farms in this country are like a bad rash. I’m all for sustainable energy but they keep putting them up in some of the most beautiful parts of the country.
I agree, love that they are doing it, but as a photographer who loves landscapes….. 😦
Not so much here in Sweden yet, but the plans are big, so I guess we’ll come to the same frustration, which are sad, and good at the same time…..
Impressive! I love all these horizontal lines. One enters the picture through the foreground curve, and then it’s only horizontal up to the sky (and including it).
I don’t really agree about the wind farm in this picture. It is the only verticality , their pale grey is not shocking that far away, but on the contrary emphazises the horizon .
Thank you, I’m glad you like the picture. I’m quite undecided about the wind turbines. I think they do add a vertical contrast to the dominant horizontal lines but in a very subtle way. When I composed the image I was more interested in the small stream leading the eye in to the picture and I think that worked out well. Thanks again for commenting.
Very very nice, pity about the wind farm though…
