I happened to find myself in the Beer Tent at a food festival taking place in a local town where this band were playing a fantastic set of old Rock and Roll songs. There were plenty of early Beatles songs along with classics from the 50’s and early 60’s.
I was really impressed with their performance and especially their energy.
I have more photo’s on another roll of film which I haven’t developed yet so I might post more pics if there are any good ones.

They were really good. I only regret I didn’t catch the name of the band as I came in half way through the performance.

I agree with Chloe!
When I first saw your pictures, before I read, I thought -Ahh, Beatles! They are really much alike, and I love that you used bw, so so good!

Band playing 50’s rock and roll being photographed with a 50’s camera – quite fitting really!

You are inspiring me to pick up my film cameras again…now that I know how to use a camera, I might not mind if I am not 100% certain if it turned out. When I was more of a beginner, it frustrated me that I couldn’t immediately see the affects of changed settings, etc.

I would really recommend shooting at least some film to anyone even remotely interested in photography! Putting modern film in that old camera is like giving it an instant (sensor) upgrade! And who knows, you might just like the results.
