Another one from an old roll of film.
Not an ‘Andrex’ puppy anymore but still quite cute.

With TMax 100 film in the Leica M4 I think I probably shot this hand held (resting on a cushion) at 1/4 sec and f1.5. There’s no denying the 50mm Ziess C Sonnar is a great portrait lens. I’ve read a lot of reviews slating it for it’s focus shift issues but I’ve not experienced that. Maybe something to do with the fact the lens was designed for film and not digital? I don’t know, but I do know I love the way this lens ‘draws’. The old all mechanical, all manual camera, the old lens design in a modern lens combined with modern film technology really is the best of all worlds.
