Yesterday I went climbing and bouldering in North Yorkshire with my good friend Zac Poulton.
Zac is a fully qualified Mountaineering Instructor, an excellent coach, good climber and great expedition leader.
He’s guided successful expeditions to the summits of some of the worlds highest mountains including Mt Vinson (Antarctic), Aconcagua (South America) and Everest (to list a few).
His website and blog can be found here and here and are well worth a look.
He’s also very patient and put up with me poking my new camera in his face all day. I’ve just bought this little Sony and I’m still getting to grips with it. Like any piece of equipment or technology it will have it’s limitations and I think it’s super important to learn what they are and be able to work with and around them.
This is the gallery of (24) photo’s from the day and as I’m still very much a fan of black and white I converted these to mono using Photoshop Elements

I’d say you’ve gotten the “hang” of your new camera. Love the penultimate image.

Thanks Steven. I feel like I’m getting there with it but there’s always more to learn!
