Thirlmere

Yesterday was a lovely day in the Lake District. Working in the outdoors can be a chore sometimes, usually when the weather is bad (and it often is around here), but days like yesterday more than make up for it. I was at Thirlmere to support a ‘Chase the Sun’

Scugdale

Yesterday I went climbing and bouldering in North Yorkshire with my good friend Zac Poulton. Zac is a fully qualified Mountaineering Instructor, an excellent coach, good climber and great expedition leader. He’s guided successful expeditions to the summits of some of the worlds highest mountains including Mt Vinson (Antarctic), Aconcagua

Rose hips

A sure sign that Autumn is here. Apparently rose hips contain (20x) more vitamin c than oranges. I once made rose hip syrup from an old WWII recipe and it was rather good – I highly recommend it. You can find a recipe here This is the original full size image (6000×4000)
