A yacht sails slowly back to the safety of the harbour
Although the harbour provides protection, boats need to access the inner marina to moor up.
Approaching the sea lock. The sea lock ensures a constant water level inside the marina.
At high tide there isn’t a lot of height difference between the water in the marina and the water in the harbour. This yacht was safely home just a few moments later.

The first shot is my favourite. Looking forward to exploring more of your film photography – something I haven’t done in a very long time.

John, I just love this project of yours, fantastic photos!
Have you thought of submitting them to Black+White Photography Magazine? They’re looking for submits like this, ongoing assignments! Look it up, please!
http://www.thegmcgroup.com Fantastic magazine, just about bw, much more into the artistic view, not so much about gear.
